about….

Hello. I am a Japanese-born Canadian expat, a globetrotter, and an adventurer! Having resided in a handful of countries, I consider myself a global citizen. While biking in the Chianti region of Tuscany, I fell in love with the slow-paced approach to life in small villages and the countryside. Half a year later, I left my busy corporate life in New York City with biking gear, cookbooks, and a heart filled with dreams and aspirations.

I started this blog to stay connected with my friends and family, but after many suggestions, I decided to expand the audience and share my adventures and discoveries with the curious-minded like me.  For those interested in walking on a winding path at a slow pace, please join me in wondering (and sometimes getting lost) on the road often and less traveled. Welcome on board!
